This is a Community Social Project that is aimed at providing a Centre for Community Relief (Succor).It is borne out of the Broadhurst Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the City of Gaborone Botswana mission to reach and address as far of influence and beyond the greater Gaborone City.
These interventions stem from some of the most evident social problems that have been observed by the Church during its weekly interactions and these are but not limited to: HIV-AIDS,ALCOHOL and DRUG ABUSE, ILLITERACY, TEENAGE PREGNANCIES and ORPHAN FEEDING.
VISION
To Build and Operate a self sustaining Multi-Purpose Centre that addresses the challenges of the Society within its sphere of influence and beyond.
The Broadhurst Succor Centre is a Community Centre developed by the Broadhurst Seventh-Day Adventist Church to run as a non profit Independent facility operating 24/7 when fully completed, with a Full Time and Part Time volunteer compliment of Staff running a number of Social Programmes to cater for the Community’s needs.
Through its various Departments of Community & Welfare Ministry, Ministry to the disabled, Women’s Ministry, Youth and Children’s Ministry and Family Life Ministry it has vast experience in managing Community Affairs.
